New Year, new inspiration

With the start of the New Year brings lots of  free courses, live calls and summits.
I have signed up to the following –

The MB3 with Makenna Johnson is a weekly call for the first 4 weeks in January starting on the 8th. The calls will be recorded. Makenna was my coach during 2014 and working with her was inspiring and she knows her shit. So if anyone can help you with business planning, creating change in your business or life it is Makenna.

The Thriving Artist Summit “Artists, Designers, and Makers. Take Your Creative Biz To The Next Level! Join Us For This 100% FREE Online Event And Learn From Highly Successful Artists, Experts, And Mentors!”. Sound too good to miss!

Grow Your Depth, Nurture Your Brilliance is hosted by  Andrea Schroeder and will be interactive calls where they will focus on answering questions about the topic of the call. The subjects of the calls are varied from WordPress to poetry. Also one of my favourite bloggers is on one of the calls Susannah Conway.

Create Your Color Story, consists of free “Year of Color” prompts throughout 2015, a free rainbow mediation and journal pages. This is run by Louise Gale

I am going to be inspired for the first few weeks of January. Lets hope the feeling will last for the whole of 2015.

Island Holistic Life

I have been busy creating a new website called ‘Island Holistic Life’. It is to help promote health and well-being on the Isle of Wight.

A healthy mind equals a healthy body and vice versa.

Island Holistic Life is a place to learn about different holistic practices and how they can be beneficial to your health and well-being. There is also a calendar of events and classes that are taking place on the Isle of Wight.

Being back on the Isle of Wight has made me realise and notice how many holistic therapist there are here. It is quite amazing how many kind and healing people there are here, who want to help others and spread the healing light. I have created this space to spread the word and the work of these wonderful people, giving them the opportunity to shine in the field of work they love and spread the love while working.

Please take the time to pop over to Island Holistic Life and see what is going on.

Here are my photos from January…I started my workbook from Leonie Dawson, I recommend this workbook as it is great for helping you with your goals and how to achieve them. I have completed lots of art work as I am taking part in Life Book 2014, leaning so many new techniques and building my confidence try them out in my own work. I am still making my own cleaning products using vinegar and EO’s and finally I did a vision board.! January was a creative month and February is shaping up to be similar.

Shoulds no more!

Today my life-coach Makenna reminded me that in life you are allowed to let go of the ‘shoulds’. Some of my ‘shoulds’ are being looked at by me and maybe they don’t belong in my life….I should write a bio for my blog; maybe I could have a load of photos, a photo of my vision board, a photo collage of things I like to do and a collage of my artwork, they say picture is worth a thousand words (inspired). I should sell my work and be an artist; I think you can be an artist without selling your work. I should write a to-do list and do all of those things on it and if I don’t do them then it means I am not doing enough! I should write a blog post at least once a week and then get pissed at myself when I haven’t done it. I was reminded that; why do it if you don’t enjoy it, why force it, if you don’t like it,  why would you do it? I should do this and that, I should know what I want to do with my life and I should go to bed early! No more shoulds in my life.

Makenna also introduced me to the Desire Map by Danielle LePorte and I just fell in love with her and her style. So now I am learning and thinking about how I want to ‘feel’ and how to get things done at the same time. ‘Inspired muchly’.

Hehe I just thought to myself ‘I should put a photo with this post…well I am not going to!

2013 Gratitude List

There’s something good in everyday

Over the last year or so gratitude has been an important part of my life. I spend time each day being grateful. I think it is important to take note of things in your day to day life that you are grateful for. I have a gratitude notebook that I keep next to my bedside and most days I note down something that I am grateful for. Gratitude equals  happiness.

Here are a few of the things I was grateful for in 2013 –
